Fingerprint-resistant steel sheets are composite coated plates produced by applying fingerprint-resistant treatment to galvanized steel surfaces. These sheets feature smooth, flat surfaces with tight tolerances. The earliest fingerprint-resistant treatment technology utilized hexavalent chromium-containing coatings. Both domestically and internationally, the production process involves purifying galvanized sheets followed by applying an organic coating (fingerprint-resistant film) onto the purified film.
Type
One type involves applying an organic coating (fingerprint-resistant film) onto the passivated film after galvanized sheet undergoes passivation treatment. The primary application method is coating.
The other type involves adding organic resins and colloidal silica to the galvanized passivation solution. After passing through the passivation tank, the galvanized strip steel forms a composite coating on its surface that offers both corrosion resistance and fingerprint resistance. The primary coating methods for this process are electrolytic coating and roll coating. Both domestically and internationally, the first process is generally used to produce fingerprint-resistant sheets.
