Color-coated steel sheet is a new type of material that has developed rapidly worldwide over the past decades. It is refined by using cold-rolled galvanized steel strip as the base plate, undergoing surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning and chemical treatment), primary coating and precision coating on a continuous production line. Generally, it refers to the sheet obtained by applying one or more layers of liquid coatings via the coil coating method, followed by baking and cooling processes.
The quality of its coating is far more uniform, stable and ideal than that of single-piece spraying or brushing on the surface of formed metal. Color-coated steel sheet boasts excellent decorativeness, formability and corrosion resistance, with strong coating adhesion, enabling it to maintain a bright and fresh color for a long time. As it can replace wood with steel, facilitate efficient construction, save energy, prevent pollution and yield favorable economic benefits, it has become an ideal raw material for manufacturing building sheets nowadays.

The color-coated steel sheet with galvanized steel sheet as the base plate not only benefits from zinc protection, but also the organic coating on the zinc layer plays a covering and isolating role, which can prevent the steel sheet from rusting and extend its service life beyond that of galvanized steel sheet—specifically, the service life of color-coated steel sheet is 50% longer than that of galvanized steel sheet.
